Custom construction can build you a deck of your dreams with very low maintenance that can withstand the extreme temperatures we have here in New England.   The composite materials today are state of the art along with a vinyl railing systems and pvc trim to complinment the decking.  Here to the left is a couple of examples of composite decks.  Be prepaired these low maintenance items do get pricey but I think it's worth the initial investment.  No more rotten wood scraping pealing staining or painting.

If you choose not to make the investment in Composite, Vinyl or Pvc products there are alternatives such as good old wood products.  Wood can last to!  With a proper installation some annual maintenance you can enjoy your deck for years to come.  Some wood products are (PT pressure treated), Fir, Mahogany, Cedar, Ipe hard wood
